The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Ebrahim Mohamed Al Hasan, at Riffa Palace.

The Deputy King and Sudanese Ambassador discussed the strength of bilateral relations and the importance of continuing to build on these ties by enhancing cooperation in various fields and sectors.

The Deputy King welcomed the newly appointed Sudanese Ambassador and wished him every success in his new diplomatic role.

The Deputy King and Sudanese Ambassador went on to discuss a range of international and regional issues, as well as opportunities to develop new areas of shared interest between both countries.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Deputy King for his ongoing contribution to the development Bahrain-Sudan relations at all levels.
