H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received the members of Fujairah Youth Council, the executive arm of the Emirates Youth Council in the emirate, at his palace in Al Rumailah this evening.
Sheikh Hamad stressed the keenness of the wise leadership to train skilled national human resources to play a key role in the comprehensive development process, according to the strategic plans. He highlighted the importance of the role of the youth in nation-building, achieving the wise leadership’s vision, and serving various segments of the community.
He said that the UAE is quickly moving towards excellence and innovation and this success should be taken forward by the youth. He added that they must be equipped with the knowledge and skills that will strengthen these achievements to maintain the country’s position at the forefront of the international civilisation.
The Fujairah Ruler was briefed about the Fujairah Youth Council plans and initiatives. He said that it is highly important that their goal serves the country’s work strategy in all fields, supports the purpose of the establishment of this council, and utilises the capacities of its members.
The members of the council thanked Sheikh Hamad for receiving them and for his continuous support to the youth and their initiatives. He stressed that his directives constitute guidelines of work for the coming period in serving the Emirati community.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of Fujairah’s Emiri Court.
