Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan has received Member of Parliament (MP) Abdulhaleem Abdullah Murad, to discuss the ministry’s efforts and initiatives to provide quality jobs for Bahraini youth in the private sector establishments.
The meeting reviewed the ministry’s programmes of vocational training and skills development of jobseekers.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Development encourages the productive workplace environment in the companies and establishments. The ministry provides its social protection programmes to all segments of the society and supports the goals of civil society organisations (NGOs). The ministry also helps charity societies to carry out their humanitarian mission and role.
MP Murad expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the ministry’s continuous efforts and pledging all available potentials as well as facilitating the procedures and making best quality services easily accessible to the citizens and residents, citing the field visits undertaken by the Minister of Labour and Social Development in Bahrain's rural and urban areas at the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, that contributed a lot by informing the citizens about the ministry’s services in terms of jobs and social welfare, determining the citizens’ needs and fulfilling them within the ministry’s work plans and projects.
