Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani affirmed on Monday their determination to exert more efforts to settle the crisis in Syria.
The Kremlin said in a statement that Putin and Rouhani reviewed cooperation between the two countries on joint projects in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, and transport sectors, as well as a number issues on the international agenda.
The statement added that the two sides also exchanged views about the situation in Syria, showing determination to resolve the crisis in Syria
