Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, received here today the newly-appointed Bahraini Ambassador to Jordan, Ahmed Yussef Al-Ruwaie, in the presence of the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee, MP Abdulla bin Huwail, and MP Abdulrahman Bu Majeed.
The speaker congratulated the ambassador on the precious royal trust bestowed upon him to assume his patriotic responsibilities, wishing him every success in serving the kingdom.
Al-Mulla lauded the key role played by embassies in consolidating Bahrain’s relations with brotherly and friendly countries, taking care of the interests of Bahraini nationals abroad and highlighting the landmark civilisational achievements attained by the kingdom in various field under the royal reform project and the democratic process spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The speaker highlighted the Bahraini embassies’ role in attracting investments and economic projects to the kingdom and transferring distinguished experiences, as well as in seeking to increase bilateral trade exchange and enhancing parliamentary cooperation with other countries.
