Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim met the U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, in Ankara to discuss regional issues on Thursday, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
Yildirim and Tillerson spoke about ongoing efforts to clear ISIS from Syria and Iraq during the meeting.
The two sides also discussed the extradition of FETO leader Fetullah Gulen and agreed to continue bilateral engagements over the issue.
According to AA, Tillerson is also expected meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other senior Turkish government officials during his day-long visit.
