The deputy Greek foreign minister hailed on Saturday as deeply-rooted the relations between Egypt and Greece especially in the political, economic and social fields.
This came in his speech at the inauguration of "The Cavafia 2017: The 14th International Literary Symposium" currently held in Alexandria.
The event is under the auspices of the Greek Embassy in Cairo, and organized by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, in cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Ministries of Culture of Greece and Egypt, Cairo Opera House, the Greek Department of "Friends of Bibliotheca Alexandrina" and the Greek Cultural Center in Cairo.
The inauguration was attended by Alexandria Governor Mohamed Sultan and a high-profile Greek delegation.
