Indonesian Attorney General H. M. Prasetyo and his Singaporean counterpart Lucien Wong signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Bali on Tuesday.
The signing of the MoU marked a milestone in the relationship between the two institutions and attests to the warm and friendly ties existing between the two governments, according to a statement issued by the office of the Indonesian Attorney General.
The MoU offers a framework for a broad range of cooperation activities including training, exchange of experiences and information on applicable laws, procedures, and policies, as well as the provision of information on certain aspects of criminal cases.
Wong is on a working visit to Indonesia at the invitation of Prasetyo, according to M. Rum, a spokesman of the Attorney Generals Office.
