Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed “There is no evidence the Syrian government has used chemical weapons,” adding that all claims in this regard are a provocation.
President Putin told Le Figaro newspaper on Tuesday that there is no evidence the Syrian government has used chemical weapons, saying “certainly, that was just a provocation because Syria didn’t use that weapon.”
He affirmed that Russia stands against the use of chemical weapons by any side.
