Oman, represented by the permanent envoy to the Unesco, is taking part in the activities of the 201st Session of the Executive Board meeting of the Unesco in Paris.
The meeting would continue until May 5 in the presence of Irina Bokova, Director General of the Unesco, members of the Executive Board of the Unesco and a number of permanent representatives to the Unesco.
Dr. Samira bint Mohammed Al Moosa, the Sultanate's permanent representative to the Unesco said that 2017 would see the approval of the programme, new budget and election of the new director general of the Unesco.
