Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Ahmed Saad Omer , has lauded the depth of fraternal ties between Sudan and India in political and economic spheres, stressing Sudan's keenness to continue enhancement of relations between the two countries , especially in environmental domain.
The Minister, who met in his office Ambassador of India to Sudan, Amrit Lugun, Monday, stated that Sudan is convinced that India would be the best champion to the developing countries depending on its bright historical heritage of backing peoples at the international forums.

Omer called for putting appropriate framework for consolidation of ties of cooperation between Sudan and India in all fields.
He said India's geographical position and diversity of its resources could be a base for cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
