Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
Islamabad - Arab Today

Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif Monday said that Pakistan was fully committed to safeguard its territory.
Talking to a private television channel, the foreign minister responded to US President’s tweet saying that
the United States was shifting its frustration towards our country after its failure in Afghanistan.
He said that the United States should review its policy and sought peaceful solution to the situation in
Afghanistan.
Military solution could not be a viable solution to the situation in Afghanistan, he added.
To a question regarding American aid, he said, “We have provided the services to US for using roads, railway
and other services and in that regard, the US provided money to our country.”
To another question Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan’s foreign policy was heading towards its national interest.
Replying to a question about any misadventure by US, he said that Pakistan was fully committed to protect its
motherland.
