His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa has today received, at his Palace in Riffa, Singapore’s Minister of Defence Affairs Maliki Osman, currently on visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to take part in the 14th IISS Manama Dialogue-2018.
HRH the Premier stressed Bahrain’s keenness on strengthening cooperation with Singapore and bolster joint ties in all fields towards serving shared interests and meeting the countries and peoples’ aspirations.
The minister conveyed to HRH the Premier greetings from Singapore’s President Halimah Yacob. He also invited HRH the Premier to pay a visit to Singapore.
HRH the Premier also extended greetings to the President of Singapore, wishing her country further progress and prosperity. He hailed Singapore’s landmark development strides in the Asian and international arenas.
HRH the Premier underlined the potential of furthering joint economic, trade and investment cooperation through memoranda of understanding and agreements that serve shared interests.
He stressed the importance of intensifying exchanged visits to discuss all prospects of joint cooperation and develop joint ties in all fields.
He underlined Bahrain’s keenness on developing relations with ASEAN countries, including Singapore, towards support the Kingdom’s development, stressed the ASEAN economic leverage and landmark strides.
The Singaporean ministers expressed thanks to HRH the Premier for his keenness on strengthening bilateral relations and bolstering joint cooperation, hailing Bahrain’s landmark sustainable development strides.
