Qatar participated in the working group of the European Union's European External Action Service (EEAS) on the Middle East and Gulf at the European Commission's headquarters in Brussels.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union, Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Khulaifi, represented Qatar in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, HE the ambassador explained Qatar's stances and efforts to boost cooperation with EU member states. He also spoke about the current challenges facing the Gulf region and the Middle East.
The ambassador pointed to the great progress that Doha made in the economic, scientific and social aspects as it strives to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.
The meeting, which included members of EEAS and representatives pf EU organizations, discussed arrangements of the planned visit of the working group to Qatar this month.
