Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today that the outcomes of the Astana meeting was a big step towards resolving the Syrian crisis. 
Lavrov described the document adopted at the end of the meeting as a very important one. He added that the Russian administration said that they took into consideration the positions of the Syrian regime and the opposition when presenting a draft constitution for Syria. 
The Russian Foreign Minister said that his country has been enhancing its cooperation with both Iran and Turkey in order to resolve the crisis. He added that Russia will inform the Syrian opposition of the outcomes of Astana, during a meeting that will take place Friday.
