Brigadier Thani Butti Al Shamsi, Director of Training Department at Abu Dhabi Police, and Leslie Ann Ellis, Head of the International Operations Support Network at the Metropolitan Police, discussed ways to promote and develop training co-operation between the two sides.
The meeting, which was held in Brigadier Al Shamsi’s office, was attended by Colonel Abdullah Al Zaabi, Head of Internal and International Affairs Department, Major Abdulkarim Al Hammadi, Head of Planning, Captain Ahmad Al Mulla, Director of Public Relations Department, the Regional Director of Metropolitan Police, and James Constable, Counter Terrorism and Extremism Liaison Officer based in the UAE.
On the other hand, the Training Department in Abu Dhabi Police General Command celebrated the graduation of several officers in the executive office, who underwent a specialised training course on the requirements and internal audit of the quality management system ISO 9001:2015.
These training courses are implemented within the framework of Abu Dhabi Strategic Plan to develop the knowledge and skills of the officers and are aimed at complying with the scientific development, as well as enhancing performances and services.
