The first Gulf Conference for Education and Human Development will open on Monday (Jan. 22) in Bahrain.
The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) is hosting the two-day event under the theme “Educational Horizons, Innovative Vision”.
Leading GCC experts specialised in human resource development will take part in the first edition of the conference.
“The papers will focus on the role of education in developing human resources GCC talents, tapping into local and world practices and honing their skills to assume leading positions”, said conference secretary-general, PhD student Said bin Mushabab Al-Qahtani.
In a statement, he said that the conference would be centered on future planning, educational visions to keep abreast of global shifts and the role of education in fostering the values of citizenship in the GCC states.
