As part of its Equipment Donation Policy, du recently donated 120 second-hand computers to Dar Al Ber, which were then distributed to the Al Manama Charity School and Al Salaf Al Saleh School.
These computers will now be placed in each of the school’s computer labs and will be used by children of all grades for educational purposes.
"At du, giving back to the UAE community is of utmost importance to us. Through our ‘Equipment Donation Policy', we consider our donations as a positive step forward in promoting a circular economy. We strive to support educational programmes internally and externally in order to educate the youth and develop future leaders of the UAE. In line with the Year of Giving, this donation through Dar Al Ber is a testament to our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and positively contributing to the community in the UAE," said Adbulwhaed Juma, Executive Vice President, Brand and Corporate Communications.
