The Public Prosecution said forensic DNA tests will be conducted to identify unrecognizable body parts of the victims and the perpetrator of Alexandria's Saint Mark Church attack on Sunday.
Investigations indicated that 17 persons, including six police personnel, were killed and more than 40 others; 14 police elements, 16 Muslims and 21 Christians, injured in the attack.
The dead included 11 civilians; three of them still unidentified, according to investigations.
Investigations also revealed that as the suicide bomber attempted to pass through a security screening gate at the entry of the church, an alarm sounded. The man hesitated for a moment before entering, fearing that he will be arrested by police personnel. He then blew himself up.
