During a meeting in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, Dr. Sahar Nasr, Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, and Jassim Alseddiqi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Financial Group, ADFG, explored the prospects for joint investment opportunities in the New Administrative Capital, a real estate project and seat of government, as well as in the new Al Alamein City Developments and the Suez Canal Area Development Project.
In her statement, Dr. Nasr stressed that Egypt welcomes Emirati investors while improving its investment environment to stimulate economic growth.
She noted the ADFG can tap into the huge and promising opportunities in the relevant projects, considering the availability of local infrastructure and services.
Alseddiqi stressed that a recently passed investment law spurred his group to increase their investment in Egypt.
