Etisalat and Ras al-Khaimah Public Services Department, RAKPSD, have announced the launch of Etisalat’s Wi-Fi network at Al Qawasim Corniche, Ras al-Khaimah, to enable residents and visitors to access internet at any time.
The joint announcement was made at Etisalat's stand at the GITEX Technology Week, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in the presence of Ahmed Al Hammadi, Director-General of RAKPSD and Mohammed Al Amimi, Acting Director-General, Etisalat, Northern Emirates.
Al Hammadi said, "The Wi-Fi service at Al Qawasim Corniche reflects the vision of RAKPSD in supporting one of the most important strategic projects in this region. This cooperation comes within the framework of future projects as the Department is in the process of signing a number of memoranda of understanding and agreements with Etisalat as part of the joint cooperation."
The service supports digital adoption by providing residents with a seamless and secured internet access, using the most advanced technologies.
Al Amimi said, "We are delighted to cover the Al Qawasim Corniche with strong network connections. This project reflects the efforts of the Public Services Department in Ras al-Khaimah to improve the reality service in the emirate."
