French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, celebrated on Saturday the commemoration of the "Truce of November 11, 1918," during a ceremony held in the French military cemetery in Beirut.
Speaking at the ceremony, Foucher hailed the "sense of responsibility" among the Lebanese people, saying, "It is in nobody's interest to start a new period of instability in Lebanon."
Ambassadors of U.S., Elizabeth Richard, European Union, Christina Lassen, U.K., Hugo Shorter, Germany, Martin Huth, Romania, Victor Mercia, Belgium, Alex Lenaerts and Theodore Passas from Greece attended the ceremony
