Gharbiya Security Director Major General Tareq Hassouna on Saturday inspected the security measures taken to secure Copts celebrations of Easter across the province.
He also inspected the churches of Mar Paulus, Marmina and Saint Marmina and the security measures taken to secure their surroundings.
The security director asserted the importance of checking the churches monitors all around the day as well as the inspection of visitors.
He also reiterated that security personnel should wear their bulletproof vests and helmets to protect themselves against any potential attacks, asserting that security elements should deal properly and with self-restraint with the public.
The Interior Ministry has issued high security alert to secure Copts celebrations of Easter nationwide.
