Cape Verde President Jorge Carlos Fonseca received here the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, the Honorary President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) and the founder of the Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) organisation, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is on a visit to Cape Verde to attend the African Heavyweight Championship in which a match was held between KHK Boxing’s boxer Faisal Arami and Congolese boxer, Junior Maximus.
HH Shaikh Khalid conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Cape Verde president, and his wishes of abundant health and happiness to him and of further progress and prosperity to the friendly Cape Verdean people.
HH Shaikh Khalid also conveyed greetings from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to President Jorge Carlos Fonseca.
He also conveyed greetings from the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to the Cape Verdean President, and his wished of further success to Cape Verde in the youth and sports fields.
HH Shaikh Khalid exchanged with the Cape Verdean President talks on bilateral relations and ways to bolster them, especially in the youth and sports fields.
HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated Cape Verde on the success of the African Heavyweight Championship, wishing it further success and distinction.
Then, HH Shaikh Khalid and President Jorge Carlos Fonseca exchanged souvenir gifts.
President Jorge Carlos Fonseca expressed delight in HH Shaikh Khalid’s visit, noting that it will open up wider horizons of bilateral cooperation and coordination in various fields.
