Manama - Arab Today

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from Housing Minister, Bassim bin Yaqoob Al-Hamar following HM's visit to the "Khalifa City" project.

The minister extended deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for visiting the "Khalifa City" Project, noting that the royal visit has had a good impact on the hearts of the Southern Governorate citizens, in general, and those of the Housing Ministry’s affiliates, in particular.
He expressed the Housing Ministry’s affiliates’ deep pride in naming the city after His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in recognition of his unwavering support for the housing issue in the kingdom.

The "Khalifa City" Project is a new milestone that adds to the series of housing achievements attained by the kingdom during HM the King’s prosperous era, and a new step forward towards implementing the royal order to build 40,000 housing units, Al-Hamar said.

He pledged that the Housing Ministry will spare no effort in order to translate the royal directives of providing speedy housing services for the citizens, and implementing all the housing commitments entrusted to it into the ground.
