His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa lauded the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia based on strong cooperation and coordination. He hailed the stances of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in support of Bahrain, stressing solid historic relations which, he said, represent a model to emulate for inter-state ties built on strong fraternity and solidarity.
This came as he received, at Al-Sakhir Palace – in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier - Saudi Interior Minister His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The Saudi minister conveyed to HM the King greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who wished Bahrain’s leadership and people further progress and prosperity.
HM the King extended greetings to the Saudi leader and Crown Prince wishing them Saudi people further progress and prosperity. He underscored the importance of fraternal visits which, he said, contribute to strengthening joint security cooperation and coordination and strengthening consultation regarding current developments, as the region goes through critical conditions.
HM the King hailed the crucial Saudi-led role to consolidate joint GCC work, defend its interests and unify efforts and stances. Regional developments of interest to both countries were discussed.
