Security bodies in Matrouh managed Saturday to thwart an infiltration attempt by 27 persons including two Sudanese who were seeking to cross the borders into Libya via desert routes at Salloum.
Matrouh Security chief Major General Mokhtar el Sinbary has received a report that the 27 suspects were arrested while seeking to travel to Libya in an illegal way.
