Minister of State for Refugee Affairs, Mouin Merhebi, accompanied by UNHCR Representative Mireille Girard and UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator Philippe Lazzarini, visited on Monday Al-Raed camp in al-Mandara neighborhood in Qob Elias, to have a closer look at the present conditions of refugees there.
On the other hand, Social Affairs Minister, Pierre Bou Assi's Advisor, General Supervisor of Lebanon's Plan to Respond to the Syrian Crisis, Mario Abu Zaid, also visited the camp, accompanied by concerned dignitaries and representatives of governmental and non-governmental associations in the Bekaa region.
Abu Zaid underlined the state's commitment to provide refugees with their basic and most vital needs
