Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the outgoing Commander of the Peninsula Shield Forces, Major-General Hassan bin Hamza Al-Shehri, who introduced to him his successor, Major-General Waleed bin Falih Al-Dhahri.
BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, was present.
The commander-in-chief expressed thanks and appreciation to Major-General Al-Shehri for the tremendous efforts he has exerted throughout his tenure, wishing him every success in his future assignments.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa lauded the good efforts exerted by the Peninsula Shield Forces in strengthening unity and common destiny among the Gulf Cooperation (GCC) countries.
Director of the BDF General Command’s Court, Major-General Mohammed Sa’ad, Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sada, and Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, Major-General Ghanim Ibrahim Al-Fadhala, attended.
