Manama - Arab Today

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa called for Arab solidarity to be the beacon of light that leads the region to the highest levels of growth in a secure and stable climate. He affirmed the importance of cooperation as the best way to deter ambient dangers and stop interference in countries’ affairs.

HRH the Premier was speaking as he received Head of the diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain, stressing that maintaining Arab security and stability is no longer an option but a necessity dictated by global security and economic challenges facing the region in various forms and types. He said targeting the region and trying to undermine its stability has never stopped, calling on all to be cautious and hold on to cooperation and brotherhood to overcome challenges safely. He stressed that the wisdom of the Arab leaders will further strengthen pan-Arab cooperation and immunity against dangers, including mainly terrorism.

HRH the Prime Minister underlined the importance of promoting pan-Arab work to overcome all challenges facing the Arab nation in this crucial phase of its contemporary history.

The Heads of the diplomatic missions extended to HRH the Prime Minister congratulations on the advent of Eid Al-Adha, wishing him a happy return of the occasion.

HRH the Premier emphasised Bahrain’s support to all efforts aimed at boosting Arab solidarity and coordination to come up with common visions regarding regional issues. He noted that cooperation is the best way to confront challenges threatening regional security. He hailed the stances of the Arab countries supporting Bahrain and its brethren countries in combating terrorism and stopping interference in the internal affairs. He asserted that the countries seeking to eradicate terrorism are not hostile to anyone but have an ultimate goal which is security for them and their brethren. “This is a legitimate right for every state,” he said, stressing that attempts to drive wedges and sow sedition in countries is unacceptable.
