In line with the decision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to declare 2017 as the "#Year of Giving", and the global vision of endowment adopted by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, MBRSG, has announced the allocation of 60 seats as endowments for students from GCC and Arab countries in the field of government excellence applications.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy and the Arab Administrative Development Organisation have collaborated on the initiative, which complements the efforts to spread knowledge and government best practices across the Arab world. The school will cover all tuition fees for the selected students.
In this regard, MBRSG has received the Dubai Endowment Sign from Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy, one of the Mohammed bin Rashid global initiatives, in recognition of its community contribution as a role model in the education and training sector in the UAE.
Following the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, the Dubai Endowment Sign allows private institutions to acquire a preference for procurements and contracts in the government of Dubai.
Dr. Ali Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, said that those wishing to benefit from this initiative can directly contact the school administration.
The initiative reflects the school’s commitment to documenting the UAE’s unique experience in government, as well as to spreading government best practices across the Arab world. The initiative falls in line with the school’s objective to document the UAE’s outstanding experience in government performance and to promote best practices in the Arab world.
Dr. Hamad Al Hammady, Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy, stressed the importance of the participation of MBRSG in the initiative, saying, "All the initiatives of the centre vary according to the needs of the community on the one hand, and the innovative thought of each institution involved in the creation of new endowment methods on the other, in order to include diverse groups from all sectors of the society both at domestic and Arab level. The initiative of the school is not limited to the UAE, but includes students from outside the country."
