Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Shaikh Mohammed Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held talks with Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulmalik Abduljalil Al-Mekhlafi and discussed security issues of mutual concern and ways of strengthening bilateral relations.
In a statement posted on Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Security Media Directorate said that talks focused on regional security situation and repercussions on countries in the region. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening security cooperation to enhance training and the competence of security forces, being a top priority in Yemen which longs to regain its security and stability.
