Crew of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) vessel (Shabab Oman II) carried out maritime activities during its anchorage at the port of the city of Almeria in the Kingdom of Spain. The crew exchanged visits with senior officials on the island of Almeria. The ship also received wide media coverage by the Spanish press and various media focusing on the participation of the vessel.
The ship will receive visitors in the city of Almeria on Thursday. The visitors will see the exhibits of art models and artifacts, as well as photographs and booklets that reflect the life of the Omani man with his glorious past and shinning present.
The ship's crew continues to carry out a number of activities and training programs, such as maintenance of ropes and wires for sails, training in speeding the sails and ensuring the safety of the sails, applying safety rules to work on the roof and maintaining a healthy environment within the ship.
