H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, today attended the meeting of the higher organising committee of the "Aqdar World Summit", on preparations for the summit, which will be held from 21st to 23rd November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Interior, H.H. Sheikh Saif also witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme "Aqder" and INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions company, members of INDEX Holding, as the organiser and strategic partner of the summit.
The agreement was signed by Lt. General Saif Al Sha'far, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, General Coordinator of the Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme, said that the agreement comes within the framework of providing all the necessary supplies and equipment to ensure the success of the Aqdar summit, and to strengthen the partnership with INDEX, as well as achieving the desired educational and scientific goals.
"As a leading national company in organising local and international events inside and outside the country, we are honoured by the confidence of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, to organise this world scientific event in cooperation with Aqder programme in Abu Dhabi," Dr. Al Madani said.
