The Saudi Arabian Airlines has so far been unable to schedule its flights to transport Qatari pilgrims from Doha's Hamad International Airport due to lack of permission from Qatari authorities.
Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saleh Al-Jasser, also said that Qatari authorities have not allowed Saudi Arabian Airlines' planes to land despite days having passed since the request began.
Saudi Airlines had asked Qatari authorities for permission for their trips to transport Qatari pilgrims, which were scheduled after the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The directives where taken after the mediation of Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
