The Ministers of trade, education and immigration signed a cooperation protocol aiming at raising youths' awareness about means of safe immigration.
Inked by ministers Tarek Qabil, Tarek Shawky and Nabila Makram, the protocol is meant to provide positive alternatives to immigration and offer support to innovators and talented youths.
The deal offers training, entrepreneurship and employment programs for youths along with building links between them and scientific institutions.
It aims to provide a youth-friendly environment to lure them to technical careers and hone their skills, Qabil said.
Symposiums to raise students' awareness about safe immigration and hazards of illegal immigration will be held by the technical training centers, minister Qabil added.
He went on to say that Innovation Zones will be established under the protocol to qualify students for the needs of the local and international markets.
Valid for three year, the protocol entails supporting SMEs as an alternative to illegal immigration, Qabil stated
