Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh hailed the UAE leadership’s patronage of youth empowering plans and strategies including practical field training to boost education and qualification of Emirati youth for the future.
Al Saleh’s remarks came on Thursday as he received a delegation of Emirati youths in the presence of Youth Affairs Committee members. He welcomed the UAE youths, wishing them success and high achievement in the passing the curricula of (Watani Al Emarat Youth Programme2020).
Council Secretary-General Abdul Jaleel Ibrahim Al Toraif welcomed the Emirati youths, affirming the role of visits between youth and legislative institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, to exchange experiences and expertise, especially youth. He said the Council is keen on investment of youth energies in the implementation of plans and programmes that boost the legislative progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The delegation was briefed by Legal Advisor Ali Al Tawalbeh about the Shura Council’s legislative jurisdictions and constitutional tools. He cited the important role of cooperation between both the Shura and the Representatives Councils in the development of the legislature.
Legal Researcher in the Council, Mohsen Ali Al Ghurairi, reviewed the Kingdom’s legislations and laws that support the category of youth as well as the various youth programmes and contests organized by public and private entities all year round aimed to develop youth capabilities and skills and encourage youth creativity and innovation in all fields.
