The Head of Zarqa City Emad el Momeny rewarded an Egyptian worker named Mohamed Saleh Abdullah Younis, 34, with 200 Jordanian dinars and the expenses of Umrah (small pilgrimage).
This comes for his courage as he opened the drainage grid amid heavy rains and high-levels of water in one of the city's streets.
El Momeny told MENA corespondent here over the phone on Saturday that the Egyptian labor are partners of construction and development, adding that there are 200 Egyptian workers and employees working in the municipality and they are most respected and appreciated.
For his part, Younis said to MENA reporter over the phone that he carried out his job towards the municipality he is working for so as to maintain the safety of the passer-byes because the water level was high that matter which hindered movement.
