The observatory of extremist fatwas (religious edicts), affiliated with Egypt's Dar al Ifta, warned Monday against Daesh group's use of drones in carrying out terrorist operations.
This came following a report published by the Sunday Telegraph quoting the US Defense Department (Pentagon) as stressing the growing danger of Daesh's use of drones that could escape from some radar detectors.
The observatory added that the terrorist organization's possession of these techniques and using them in terrorist operations constituted a dire threat that should be seriously dealt with and should take the necessary measures to prevent it from developing weapons.
It further warned against Daesh's use of the "dark web" to spread its new technologies and special missions.
