Turkish Air Force killed 17 PKK militants in ongoing airstrikes in southeastern Sirnak province, South East of Turkey within the last 24 hours, the Turkish military announced on Thursday.
The military confirmed that the operation against PKK militants in the area is still on going. Separately, 13 militants were killed in the same area on Wednesday, Anadolu Agency reported.
The Turkish forces have been heavily targeting PKK locations in response to the attacks carried by the organization in the country from time to time, killing civilians and security forces.
