Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir said Friday that Iran remains "the main sponsor of global terrorism", calling on Tehran to halt its support to terror and stop targeting stability of the region.
Al Jubeir, in remarks to Sky News, accused Iran of storming embassies and assassinating diplomats in violation of international law.
He also said that Iran tries to smuggle explosives and ammunition to terrorists in Syria, Yemen and the Gulf region.
In addition, he stressed that Iran seeks to spread and expand its influence by intervening in the affairs of several countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other Gulf countries.
