North Korea has today fired three short-range missiles into the East Sea, , South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.
The projectiles were fired between 7 and 7:40 a.m. from a site in its eastern border town of Wonsan. They were presumed to have landed in waters off its east coast after flying some 210 kilometers, South Korean News Agency (YONHAP) said.
"The military is staying vigilant and paying attention to movements of the North Korean military in case of an additional launch," a JCS officer told YONHAP.
Pyongyang might have fire the three-short range missiles to signal its anger over the US-South Korean military drills.
