Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa today chaired a coordination meeting with the Information and Electronic Government Authority (iGA). The session which was attended by iGA Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Al-Qaed focused on means of developing electronic services.
Also present were Assistant Undersecretary for Statistics, Planning and Communication Dana Al-Zayani, iGA Deputy CEO Dr. Zakariya Al-Khaja and other specialised teams. The minister stressed the importance of developing documentation services, promoting the investment environment and keeping abreast of modern trends to streamline procedures for people and companies. The two sides scrutinized a study conducted by the iGA re-engineering team, which stressed the necessity of developing 11 electronic services on the national portal.
