Casablanca - Mohamed Youssef

KAC Kenitra's head Abdel Wadud Al-Zaaf, confirmed that he has the full support of the Kenitra authorities to save the Kenitra club from the danger of falling to the second division. The team currently occupies the last place in the overall standings of the Moroccan League with 18 points.

KAC's head revealed, in interview with Arabs Today, that the stifling financial crisis that the Kenitra team is undergoing is easing. " The municipal council of the city of Kenitra will give a grant amounted $ 300,000, that will be transferred to the team's bank account," he said. This will enable him to pay part of the accumulated dues of his players, due to the absence of resources.

He added that he entered  into serious negotiations with one of the owners of famous agriculture company to sponsor the team , pointed out that he seeks to attract other companies to support his team in the coming period.

Zaaf denied that he shocked a security man in front of the gate of the club, stressing that there are those who aim to promote such rumors, while a security source confirmed this incident, explaining that the file has been forwarded to the Public Prosecution.
