Moroccan footballer Sophian Bofal expressed his satisfaction over the performance of his national team during the recent matches against Burkina Faso and Tunisia in which the Moroccan national team managed to win.

He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that the two matches reflected the notable progress witnessed in the performance of the national team during the recent period, saying that Morocco’s national team performed well during the recent Africa Cup of Nations held in Gabon in January.

He praised the performance of the local players during the recent two matches, describing them as talented players. He called them for keeping their performance to gain the confidence of the coaching staff and the fans during the coming period. He added that a large number of players in the Moroccan league deserve the opportunity to participate in the other high-level leagues around the world.

He expressed his respect to the coaching staff, saying that he appreciates the decision taken by the coach over his participation with the team or not. He stressed his pleasure for participating with his Southampton team in the English Premier League. He blamed the increasing injuries for his delay in participating with his team during the recent period.

He expressed his respect to the decision taken by Moroccan leader Bin Attiya over his international retirement, saying that he is frustrated for his absence from the team during the coming period.
