Egyptian footballer Salah Rico of Zamalek Sporting Club said that he has not raised any troubles with the coaching staff, for not participating in the previous matches, stressing his commitment to the decision taken by the coach.
He added, during an interview with “Arabs Today”, “I hope to participate in the starting team to perform a role in the victories the team achieves. I am keen to meet the aspirations of our fans during the coming period. I respect the decisions of coach.”
He added that he participated in a number of matches for short time, stressing the need for participating continuously to allow the fans judge his performance. He stressed that it is difficult to find an opportunity to participate in the starting team with Zamalek due to the increasing number of outstanding players.
He praised his relations with his colleagues in the team, especially Shikabala, stressing that this player is considered one of the symbols of the team. He said that they still have the opportunity to compete for winning the Egyptian Premier League. He stressed that they can win the tournament at the expense of their rival Al Ahly. He denied what was published over his request to leave the team, stressing his desire to continue with the team during the coming period.
