Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber
Kitzbuhel - Arab Today

German sixth seed Philipp Kohlschreiber came back from a set down to defeat French qualifier Paul-Henri Mathieu 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 and win the ATP Kitzbuhel Open on Saturday.

Kohlschrieiber, 31, who lives in the famous ski-resort town, picks up his sixth ATP title after he lost in the final at Munich earlier this year when he went down in three tough sets against British number one Andy Murray.

Mathieu, who came into the week ranked 109 in the world, was the first qualifier to reach the final and was playing his first ATP final in six years.

The Frenchman got off to a bright start by taking the opening set but then had his serve broken several times in the second and deciding sets to enable Kolschreiber to coast to victory.
