Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate in Dubai recently hosted over 70 of its key leaders for the annual Mövenpick Business Academy. The three-day training program consisted of five key workshops that have been designed to further enhance commercial skills and are aimed at developing key areas of leadership and driving innovation.
Mövenpick’s President and CEO Oliver Chavy and Senior VP Human Resources opened the latest edition of the company’s Business Academy, which took place from May 15-17.
“The Business Academy is a valuable training that continuously drives our commitment toward training and development, career progression and brings our key leaders together.
This training is what sets Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts apart as one of the world’s leading and most progressive hospitality firms,” said Peter Mitchell, vice president talent and organizational development.
The 79 Business Academy participants covered topics such as, “Process-driven Strategy & Innovation,” “Business Acumen,” and “Mastering the Leadership Code.”
The event included participants from Mövenpick hotels across the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Since the program’s launch over seven years ago, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has consistently trained top-tier executives across their properties, running events several times annually in locations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa where the company now operates 83 properties. Two additional Business Academy events will be taking place during 2017 in Amsterdam and Bangkok.
