As part of the Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for the Best Voluntary Project in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Bahrain Airport Services Company (BAS) was honoured with the official sponsors of the award.

Salman Al-Mahmeed, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Airport Services Company, said: "The Company is proud to support this award, which emphasises in its objectives the importance of volunteering in the future industry of the country. The support received by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of Good Word Society, reflects the interest of His Highness and his keenness to encourage young people and citizens to practise voluntary work in all its forms.
"At BAS, we are always eager to support the activities of civil society and the private sector. Our strategy focuses on the importance of investing in human resources as an inexhaustible resource. The company also monitors an annual budget for philanthropy and participation in community events, with the aim of enhancing partnership between different sectors in Bahrain,” he said.
Al-Mahmeed also pointed out that BAS is not only providing financial support to community events but also provides training programmes for education and education in the aviation industry and logistics. It also opens the horizons of cooperation with civil society institutions and the private sector on several levels.
