Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with increasing cloudiness and another slight drop of temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic rain showers are set to fall on most districts, especially the northern, with occasional thunderstorms. Wind is southwesterly to southeasterly, moderate to active, with strong guts at night. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah a high of 14°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza.
A low pressure is expected to affect the region on Thursday as temperature is expected to drop. Generally cloudy and cold to very cold conditions are expected, paving the way to periods of rain showers, which could be torrential, and thunderstorms on most districts.
Partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold conditions are expected to continue on Friday. Temperature is set to further slightly drop with periods of rain showers, which could be torrential, and thunderstorms falling on most districts.
Saturday’s temperature is set to rise with partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime. Scattered rain showers are expected on some areas, especially the northern.
People are warned against low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog, low clouds, slippery roads and formation of floods in low areas and valleys.
